Quail Valley Utility District Re-routing 8” Force Main Project From Quail Valley UD Lift Station No. 5 (2619 LaQuinta Dr) to Quail Valley Lift Station No. 1 (3055 El Dorado Blvd).
Project Cost per bid is $165,503.00.
Estimated Construction Start Date: August/September 2020
Quail Valley Utility District has publicly advertised and bid the construction of an 8” Sanitary Force Main pipe to be installed in the Fort Bend County Drainage easement west of Stafford Run Creek. The project is permitted through Fort Bend County and the City of Missouri City. The Contractor will be TACKLE CONSTRUCTION of Brookshire, Texas telephone No: (281) 391-3232. The pipe line will be located approximately 5 feet east of the residential lots, in the drainage easement. The purpose of the pipe line is to replace an existing pipe line that is aged (48-50+ years old). The route was chosen to be least obstructive to installation of the pipe line, in order to keep the cost at a reasonable rate. Construction should take between 30-60 days depending on weather. The pipe system was designed using high strength C-900 PVC pipe in 20 foot lengths with restrained joints to minimize the possibility of leakage.
